The sparkling summer has given way to autumn in Bohuslän. The air is crisp, and darkness falls ever earlier—but in the Lighthouse Master's residence, it is warmer and cozier than ever. It’s time for the highlight of the year: the hunt for the black gold!

Lobster Fishing Experience
The day begins in the morning, when you set out with an experienced local fisherman into the crisp autumn air. For approximately 2.5 hours, you and the other guests on board will learn the fine art of fishing the European lobster, feel the power of the sea, and enjoy a warming Swedish  fika on board. When the fishing is over, an exhilarating RIB ride takes you from Marstrand out to Pater Noster. Upon arrival, you are welcomed with a warming drink and stories of the island’s fascinating history.

After a flavorful lobster lunch in the Lighthouse Master's dining room and check-in to your beautiful room, an afternoon of relaxation and exploration awaits. Slip into your bathrobe and slippers, sink into the warm hot tubs or enjoy the sauna – both with stunning views of the horizon. Visit the lighthouse and take in breathtaking vistas and stories of the island’s dramatic past.

As darkness falls, we gather in the wine cellar for oysters and champagne before the evening continues with a memorable lobster dinner in the boathouse – an experience to remember.

09:00 am - Lobster fishing with local fisherman
11:45 am - Departure with RIB to Pater Noster
12:00 pm - Arrival and welcoming in the harbor 
12:30 pm - Lobster lunch and then check-in

06:00 pm - Oysters & champagne in the wine cellar
07:00 pm - Lobster dinner in the boathouse

Weather and wind conditions may affect the timing of fishing and transport. In such cases, you will be notified well in advance.

Information about the lobster fishing
The fishing trip is in shared boat with other guests. If you are a larger group (8+ people) and would like a private boat, please email us at the time of booking for pricing and availability.

On board, there are fishermen’s clothes available. We recommend bringing a warm sweater and a hat, as it can get chilly in the autumn wind. Wear sturdy shoes that can handle a bit of water, and pack an extra pair to change into on the island. Please pack in soft, durable bags, as the boat has limited storage space, and bring your luggage with you to the boat.
